At GeoProCam, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Information We Collect
Location Data: GeoProCam requires access to your device’s precise GPS location. This data is used exclusively to:
- Generate watermarks on photos (GPS coordinates, altitude, address).
- Display your position on the project map.
- Geocode addresses into coordinates for project points.
Camera and Storage: We require access to your camera to take survey photos and your local storage to save project databases and generated PDF reports.
2. Data Processing and Storage
On-Device Storage: All project data, notes, and photos are stored locally on your device’s secure storage.
Zero Server-Side Tracking: We do NOT collect or store your survey data, photos, or coordinates on our own servers. Your professional data belongs to you.
3. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party providers to enhance the app’s functionality:
- RevenueCat: Used to manage subscription status. It processes an anonymous ID and receipt data to verify your PRO access. No personal survey data is shared.
- Google Drive API: If you enable Google Drive sync, the app uploads files directly to your private Google account.
- Microsoft Graph API (OneDrive): If you enable OneDrive sync, the app uploads files directly to your private Microsoft account.
- Open-Meteo: Used to retrieve local temperature data for photo watermarks based on your current coordinates. Coordinates are sent anonymously.
4. Data Security
Since your data is stored on your device and your personal cloud storage, the security of that data depends on your device security and your cloud account’s password/MFA settings.
5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
As we do not store your data on our servers, you have full control over your information. You can delete all data by removing projects within the app or by uninstalling the application.
