Account Deletion & Data Removal Instructions

How to Delete Your Account and Data

GeoProCam is a local-first application. We prioritize your privacy by not maintaining central database servers that harvest your personal information. Consequently, account deletion is managed directly by you on your device.

Important: To fully delete your data and revoke access, please follow the steps below. Since we do not store your data on our servers, once you delete the app and its local storage, all data is permanently destroyed.

Step-by-Step Deletion Process

  1. Sign out: Open the GeoProCam app, go to Settings/Profile, and sign out of your Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive account. This revokes the app’s active connection to your cloud storage.
  2. Delete Local Data: Uninstall the GeoProCam application from your mobile device. This action automatically wipes all local databases, project logs, and unsynced photos stored within the app’s private directory.
  3. Cloud Data (Optional): If you have previously synced files to your Google Drive or OneDrive, you can manually delete the „GeoProCam” folder within those services to remove all remote backups.

What Data is Deleted?

  • All geographic field logs and project metadata.
  • Local copies of inspection photos and watermarked images.
  • Stored authentication tokens for cloud services.
  • Application preferences and user settings.

Note: We do not retain any of your data after the app is uninstalled.
